| Hi guys just wanted to let you all know about this upcomming event
Americas Army on free TV live
Hello to every friend of Americas Army out there,
the time has come to make another step forward and present Americas Army to the public. In Germany there is a TV station called GIGA TV (www.giga.de) which is dealing with online gaming and everything related 24/7. Our game, Americas Army, got in the focus of one of their moderators (Toni Gloeckle) and there will be a show (at least half an hour) about the game. This is gonna happen live on May, 18th 2008 at around 11pm CET. The info how to watch it is posted below.
Community's well known James Carter, who already casted numerous european, north american and even australian top matches, will be live in the studio in Cologne. He will be chatting with Toni about Americas Army and also casting a showmatch between 2 german top clans, ziRkumflex and High Fidelity. The match will take place on SF Sandstorm with 3 minute rounds, allowing a very fast paced game along with lots of action and thrilling firefights.
The focus of this show will be on the competetive side of the game, exactly the reason why most people in the big communities play it. The target is to show AA as an eSport-game and to explain its very special flavour and why it is so addicting.
Our big request to you is, to make as much advertisement about this as possible. Get your teammates to watch it and also get friends who didn't play AA yet to follow the show - maybe you can infect one or two more guys with the AA virus ;-)
On a personal note: Even though this show will be entirely in german, i still hope some of you who do not speak the language will tune in and boost the viewer-count of the TV station as high as possible - we are very thankful for that.
Here all the info about the show:
Sunday, May 18th, 10pm CET on
Click on the big green button in the middle of the page. Its online 24/7, so go ahead and check out if it works right now. You might have to download the "K Lite Codec Pack" for your Windows Media Player. You do not need an account on the site to be able to watch it.
- Info about James Carter
James Carter is playing the game nearly since its start in 2002 and was able to collect lots of experience in it. At the moment he is playing in the team Phoenix Rising, which has a very strong lineup and some similar experienced players. Other then that, JC is also a very experienced shout- and videocaster and already commentated lots of international topmatches in the past.
- Info about Team ziRkumflex
The team around diRk and skeptic was formed in March 2007 and is since then a force to recon with in the european AA scene. Starting with a roster full of international players, ziRkumflex now consists only of experienced german players. Since its start, the team was always able to combine fun and competition as well as maintaining a deep friendship between its players.
Cheers Mi.5
- Info about Team High FiDelity
The HFD AA squad was founded in november 2003 out of some members from "Army of Rebels". In all those years, the core members have seen lots and lots of players come and go. It is remarkable how long some of them have stayed together. HFD.aa also always combined their competetive ambitions with fun and are currently one of the very top adresses in europe.
